ciklotron

The company TRACKPORE TECHNOLOGIES is working on the development of high-tech medical equipment for plasma filtration, on expanding the application areas of the track membrane and on creating new products based on it, in cooperation with leading scientific centers of Russia.

The creation, production and implementation in practice of effective medical equipment fully meets modern requirements of state policy within the framework of implementing the program "Preservation of human health and well-being" and the introduction of scientific achievements into everyday life.

Everything needed for performing the blood purification procedure — membrane plasmapheresis — is created today in Russia, at the ALPHA scientific and industrial complex. To produce the base of the plasma filter — the track membrane — the world's first industrial cyclotron has been built (a cyclotron operating not for scientific purposes, but for the production of filtering elements for medical equipment). To make tiny holes with a diameter of 0.4 microns in mylar film, very complex equipment is required. Such equipment cannot be bought or purchased — it is created by the work of brilliant scientists. Scientists of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) worked on creating the industrial cyclotron for the production of track membranes, and the lion's share of all its components was made at the JINR Experimental Production Facility. Today, highly qualified specialists — physicists, chemists, candidates and doctors of science — work at the accelerator. It is precisely this level that is required to operate this complex installation.

In the development of the Rosa plasma filter, scientists from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, the A.V. Shubnikov Crystallography Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Electrophysical Apparatus Research Institute in Saint Petersburg, the Pulmonology Research Institute of the I.P. Pavlov Saint Petersburg State Medical University and other leading scientific and medical organizations participated together with the company's specialists. By their efforts, a plasma filter was developed that ensures effective separation of blood into formed elements and plasma.

During the clinical trials of Rosa filters and GEMOPHENIX devices, the company closely cooperated with leading clinics of Russia, which made it possible to confirm the effectiveness and safety of the medical equipment produced.
